Clean room

Clean room I was allowed to check in early The instructions for the remote was handy

People at reception could barely speak or understand English Bathtub has no shower curtain therefore the floor is covered with water when you're done bathing. This is a serious risk! Someone could hurt themselves. On check in, I was handed my room key and soap to use for the bathroom. Very strange! Hotel is a bit of a walk away from most attractions People are cleaning rooms in the middle of the night which is strange. We left at 9pm because we had an international flight to catch. At that time cleaners were cleaning the 2 rooms opposite us. Would be difficult to sleep through the noise for most people

Great place to stay!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. It was in the perfect area, close by to some great bars and restaurants. Tube station is only a 3 minute walk. Would recommended for sure :)

The Post Hotel

The hotel was superbly clean and we'll looked after. My heat, air conditioning, tv and plumbing all worked perfectly. I especially enjoyed the large tub which is hard to find in Korea! The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. They spoke both English and Korean which made my life so much easier. After checking out, they kindly offered to keep my luggage until it was time for me to catch my bus. This allowed me to explore for a while more with ease. I truly cannot thank them enough! Lastly, there were a few perks that I was not expecting. These included free baked goods, a tv with English channels and a computer for use in my hotel room I would certainly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again when I visit Seoul. ^^

I only had two small problems with the hotel. The first was that while I couldn't hear any sounds from outside the hotel, I could hear people in the hallway. I'm not sure if this is because it was a festival though. People tend to get noisier at those events. :) The only other problem was the location. You have to go through some alleyways to get to the hotel which can be intimidating at night. It was completely safe but dark and cramped in the alleyways.

The room decoration and furniture were pretty good.

The room decoration and furniture were pretty good. The bed was super comfortable. Our room was clean and quiet. Cleaning of the room is done upon request. Staff was friendly and always willing to help, although communication in English was not easy sometimes.

It seems that this hotel is a new one. Little things still need to be improved. No shower curtain in the bathroom, so it is difficult to take a shower without splashing water everywhere. In our room (506), the deadbolt didn't work, so we couldn't lock our room from the inside.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in any...

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in any country I've ever traveled. Needless to say, it was the worst part of our trip to South Korea. We had to pack our bags and leave this hotel at 23:30 at night because the hotel management decided to start cleaning the room next to ours for check-in of a new guest. We were woken up at 11pm because doors started banging, the phone was ringing repeatedly in the room next door, there was the sound of a trolley being wheeled and bin bags in the corridor and furniture scraping the floor. I didn't understand what was happening. When I got up to go and see what the noise was about - there were 4 people in the corridor who said that in Korea check-in is allowed any time before midnight so they carried on cleaning the room and changing the sheets as if this was just a normal occurrence. We packed our bags and left - walking the streets of Seoul with our bags at midnight in search of an actual hotel rather than this crazy place.

Beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Walk distance to a lot of popular places like markets or historical spots. Many many great restaurants and street food all around the hotel plus 24h groceries just next to entrance. We had room with beautiful view on Seoul tower. Metro station 3 min by walk. Big plus that you can pay with cash for hotel(we had some problems with my card but problem solved easily with staff). Bath in our room was great. Bed sooo comfortable and big. We were surprised that the room came with a PC inside. Staff was friendly all the time and always smiling and looks like their so happy that we stayed here. With additional fee we could checkin earlier which was very nice and helpful after long trip from Europe.

Not all the staff had the best English but in XXI century we have translators in phones so we understood each other. TV wasn’t working or we couldn’t get how to turn it on because remote control was in Korean but that wasn’t the most important thing for us.

Great place to stay if you will be stay in Seoul for longer days

very spacious room and very nice furniture inside the room. there are mobile charger and computer !

the location is sort of not in the main shopping area, and a bit hard to find. but consider the room is very nice, compare to those in Myendon

Uncomfortable with poor facilities in this slapdash MOTEL

Location is quite good. There's a convenience store nearby and many choices for dining. Also, walking distance to Myeong Dong. Wifi was fast. Shower amenities were acceptable. Good room size with a deep tub.

We had no control over the heater / air-conditioning because it's centralised. It was a warm day and we were told to open the window. The bathroom leaked really badly too, and there was water all over the floor when we shower. Have to pass through a car park to get to the reception, and bags of trash lined the pathway. Our reservation was for two people but they only prepared for one - had to ask for a towel. No in-room coffee / tea - had to go down to the lobby. Check-in time is at 3pm, which is rather ridiculous. We were arriving at noon and they wanted to charge an extra 30,000 won. For the rate that we paid, almost USD$200, it felt like a right rip off.

One of the best hotels I've stayed as in a long time. Absolute bargain in prime location.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the rooms were very clean and modern with all the perks.
